KISEL Diamonds was created with an idea that diamonds and diamond jewelry should delight and inspire as opposed to exploiting most underprivileged people for the pleasure of the rich ones. The only reason why natural diamonds cost as much as they do is the artificial lack of supply created by Cecil Rhodes (De Beers) who made the entire world believe in diamonds scarcity.
This human-created hype around diamonds pushes the world to exploit labor involved in diamond mining, destroy the environment and wage wars for the money related to diamond industry.
We strongly believe that in order to enjoy a piece of diamond jewelry no one needs to suffer or be exploited. Forests, rivers and lands must not be depleted for the sake of something that can be created in an ethical and fully controlled environment, such a laboratory.
We created the brand around the idea of sustainable jewelry. We only use lab grown diamonds that are grown in clean, regulated laboratories. We guarantee there is no child labor, no exploitation of work force, and no significant environmental impact.
To take it even further, we decided to incorporate up-cycled naturally mined gems such as emeralds, sapphires and rubies together with some semi-precious stones into our jewelry collection. We source old, outdated or damaged jewelry pieces containing these stones, remove them, and then reuse the stones and the gold or platinum to create brand-new jewelry.

When we search for precious and semi-precious stones that are perfect by nature but have been placed in some questionable jewelry we do the background check on every stone as much as possible. Every stone has its journey, and a great deal of the stones come from the mines with poor working conditions, and a great deal of ‘back breaking’. Obviously, these stones are heavily charged with this negative energy.
To start with a clean slate, to make sure only the energy of the pure stone will be passed to its new wearer, we do a special cleansing of each stone.
